Uses

  • General Workshop lubricant.
  • Frees up frozen components, padlocks, hinges, fasteners, door handles & tools.

Application

  • Shake Product well before use.
  • Prolan is safe and easy to apply using an aerosol, trigger pack, garden sprayer or airgun.
  • Best applied to a clean and dry surface. Can be sprayer over existing rust.
  • For large flaky rust areas it is recommended to wirebrush the surface then apply a coating of Prolan.
  • On areas that need to be clean to touch. Spray and Wipe off the Excess - this will leave a thin waxy film.
  • For Rust protection - Allow 24 hrs to dry prior to machinery use. The longer the time between application and Use the better the coating will be attracting less dust.
  • Cold water blasting will not remove the Prolan.
  • It is not recommended to paint overtop of a Prolan coating. Unless it has worn off or has been removed.
  • Prolan can be removed using a citrus based cleaner or degreaser - or a hot steam cleaner. This will be equipment/ machinery back to its original condition.
  •  Food Grade Approvals: NSF H1, H2, R2  MPI C12
